WHAT??

'50 micrograms is roughly equivalent to the weight of a fingerprint.'


I DON'T UNDERSTAND.


Do they mean the amount of ink a fingerprint uses??? fingerprints can be made of many things! usually skin oils. puke!

For me, that sentence is like a zen koan. It makes me try to imagine a fingerprint that exists on its own, floating in the air, made out of... WHAT? Made of whatever the universe is expanding into, or the sound of a tree no one hears fall, I guess.

I heard that this morning and I was thinking the oils that a fingerprint leaves behind on a surface.
